Usage

This template ("station disambiguated") expands a station name (first parameter) and a service name (second parameter) to link to the appropriate station article, without displaying "station". It should be used for articles that follow the link form of "Name (Service station)".

For example:

{{stnd|Irvington|Metro-North}} expands to [[Irvington (Metro-North station)|Irvington]].

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place served, for example that City Hall serves a particular City Hall.
