Dab album

The Dab album template takes two parameters: the album title and the artist name. The artist name is optional: if it is omitted, the parenthetical suffix will be simply (album).

Example with album title and artist name

The following shows how to link the album whose article is at the page Look Sharp! (Roxette album):

This displays as:

• Look Sharp! (Roxette album)

Example with album title only

The following shows how to link the album whose article is at the page Victim of Love (album):

* {{subst:Dab album|Victim of Love}}

This displays as:

• Victim of Love (album)

However, in this case, since the artist name is not part of the link, it is helpful to include additional information after the template. For example:

* {{subst:Dab album|Victim of Love}}, a 1979 Elton John album

This displays as:

• Victim of Love (album), a 1979 Elton John album
