English: The Church of Kirkja on Fugloy island in the Northern Islands, Faroe Islands. The name of the village Kirkja means Church. This church was built and ready to use in 1933.
Føroyskt: Kirjan á Kirkju á Fugloynni varð vígd í 1933. Luis Zachariassen teknaði kirkjuna, hann hevði gomlu føroysku trækirkjurnar sum fyrimynd. Luis var ættaður og uppvaksin á Kirkju. Petur Pauli Poulsen var formaður fyri at laða grundina, Jóannis Kristensen í Mittúni var formaður fyri træsmíðinum. Kelda: folkakirkjan.fo
Dansk: Kirkja er en lille bygd på øen Fugloy på Færøerne. Fugloy betyder Fugleøen. Kirkja betyder Kirke. På billedet ses kirken i Kirkja. Øerne i baggrunden er nogle af de andre Nordøer (Norðoyggjar). Den nærmeste (til venstre) er Svínoy. Kirken på Kirkja blev indviet i 1933.
