- Also, free in this context means Not imprisoned or enslaved; being at liberty. rather than not costing or charging anything —free·ly adverb —for free : without charge or fri not gratis in danish, or frjálst not frítt in icelandic, i suppose frítt innihald means that it simply does not cost anything ( which would be wrong ). -- Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 11. nov 2004 kl. 23:33 (UTC)
- I dont know about icelantic, but frítt in faroease is not equal to gratis, frítt can mean gratis, freedom, independent or just free. If you want to specify that you mean only free as in freedom you can say frælst innihald. Quackor 13. nov 2004 kl. 13:23 (UTC)
